Taking stock of Feb

  1. Making amends with the fact that I did not write a single blog post in February
  2. Cooking oats in peanut butter and coconut oil as the perfect breakfast cereal
  3. Drinking lots of water because hydrating saves lives and helps me to mind my own business. Who remembers when we used to write mind your own Ps&Qs in composition
  4. Reading Educated, a memoir by a Mormon girl on what it is like to be educated without school
  5. Wanting to be so much more consistent with my goals for blogging and creating more contentSelaron
  6. Looking at the possibility that I might be gluten intolerant and that I might have to quit eating Chapo.
  7. Playing lots of instrumental music while I work, it has really been helping in blocking day dreaming attempts by my brain
  8. Wasting time occasionally procrastinating into doing lots of easy tasks when I could be working on seriously earth shattering tasks that could yield brilliant results . But what is life if we do not balance between the two?
  9. Studying Mizizi, a discipleship class by Mavuno on the tenets of being a Christian and what it means to live that out
  10. Wishing for a 2020 filled with abundance in accomplishments and wins
  11. Enjoying the cold weather
  12. Waiting for the cure of Corona virus to be found
  13. Liking the way my face glows when I scrub it with Turmeric and Olive oil
  14. Wondering how it is that the creator of these beautiful Selaron stairs in Rio was murdered and found dead at the steps of this exquisite creation.Lapa
  15. Loving long braidedΒ  hair.Β 
  16. Hoping that in the month of March, I can journal each day and account for what I achieved, what I did not and what I learnt from each day
  17. Marvelling at the fact that now I can type while barely looking at my keyboard.
  18. Needing an endless supply of brown lipsticks and nude eye shadow palletes
  19. Smelling memoire by Gucci and thinking surely if someone can come up with a woody fragrance that has hints of Vanilla and Patchoulli, they would win my heart.
  20. Wearing a blue sleeveless dress with a touch of white and black and some sneakers
  21. Following beauty brands on social media that have minimal aesthetics
  22. Noticing that I love working out because of the sense of achievement it gives me over doing something
  23. Knowing innately that 2020 is my year of wins
  24. Thinking that I am grateful for the gift of life and loved ones
  25. Feeling driven to seize my day
  26. Bookmarking boards on pinterest that inspire me
  27. Opening up to the fact that mental health is one of the most important things in your productivity in work and personal relationships
  28. Giggling at conversations that tickle my mind
  29. Feeling sexy and I know it. Lol.
